With the CX Gold, ActiveON is addressing several of GoPro’s weaknesses. ActiveON claims their battery will last up to 120min (your mileage will vary), which is a big increase from the GoPro’s paltry 30-40 minutes. They are also including a LCD screen on the back with a touch-screen, and have spent considerable effort to develop a clean operating system.
ActiveON’s CX Gold costs $249.99 and will be available sometime this fall.
