Oneohtrix Point Never’s new video for Animals, from their 2015 LP Garden of Delete, was shot in Los Angeles and directed and edited by Rick Alverson based on a “story” by Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never) and Alverson. It stars Val Kilmer, who was recently diagonsed with throat cancer.

An exhibition of Oneohtrix Point Never’s videos is currently running at Los Angeles’ Hammer Museum. The exhibition runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays through November 19, 2016. On November 9 at 7.30pm, Lopatin, along with Hammer Curator Aram Moshayedi, will present Visual Cues and Eccojams a discussion around the formal concerns apparent in his musical work and the visual output.
